Helmut Newton: The Bad and the Beautiful is a bold documentary about one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. It’s a fascinating dive into the artist’s work and methods, where the women who often posed as his objects, speaks out about him and his oeuvre.

The film includes exclusive interviews with, amongst others, Charlotte Rampling, Grace Jones, Isabella Rossellini and Anna Wintour. The film would have had its world premiere at the cancelled Tribeca Film Festival in New York and premiered in Germany on July 7th 2020 - the same years as Helmut Newton would have turned 100. Swedish theatrical release winter 2020.
